Wow Possibly 9

Went for an ultrasound yesterday to confirm pregnancy. First time I have had an ultrasound done to confirm pregnancy. Wasn't too expensive $80.00 and was interesting. The vet was able to identify 9 embryos with heart beats and 1 with no heart beat that will probably be reabsorbed. The value of having a preliminary idea of litter size is it gives a better idea of how to feed and manage the bitch during pregnancy. Now I need to get the whelping area ready.
