Everyone has gone home

Everyone is home now and it seems very quiet around the house. All in all it was a pleasant experience and a problem free litter. With a little luck I hope it will remain problem free. It looks as if a couple will make it to the show ring, so the next year or so will be a interesting. From time to time I will post a few photos of the pups as they mature.

Picture Taking Fun or Not

Taking pictures of pups is never fun and choosing the right treats can be a struggle, but peanut butter presents its own set of problems.

It's hard to belive that 71/2 weeks have gone by so quickly.

Below you will see pictures of all 7 pups in the litter at 71/2 weeks. I would have put them in one post but couldn't master the formatting to get it done. I am happy to say that on Friday 7/16 all the pups were hearing tested at Northwest Veterinary Specialties[Dr. Prouty] and all 7 tested Bi-Lateral, they all hear in both ears. Hearing can be a problem in the breed with about 30% of Dalmatians having hearing problems. The pups have had their first shot and been wormed and a couple will be leaving in the next day or two.
